Keynote Speaker: Mike Dreitzer, Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (August 25, 2025) – The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) is pleased to announce that Mike Dreitzer, the newly-appointed Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, will be the featured keynote speaker at the organization’s GSATS event. Dreitzer’s vision for Nevada’s gaming future centers on modernization, transparency, and efficient oversight, with a strong focus on how technology and innovation will drive sustainable growth in the Nevada market.
Nimish Purohit, IGSA Chairman of the Board, said, “Nevada is a leader in the gaming industry, and is a trailblazing jurisdiction that regulates some of the most advanced gaming technologies. The Board is grateful to the Chairman to share his vision with our members and the industry.”
Mark Pace, IGSA President, added, “IGSA is honored to have Chairman Dreitzer address the GSATS attendees. His industry knowledge and experience will be invaluable as we look to integrate the many new technologies into the highly regulated gaming industry. IGSA will continue to work on developing standards and best practices, as well as growing its relevance and impact. The Chairman’s participation at GSATS further strengthens our mission.”
IGSA’s annual technology summit will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, at the Harrah’s Ak-Chin Hotel & Casino, on November 12-13. The two-day educational conference is aimed at providing legislators, regulators and industry decision makers in-depth information and examples of how technology can be used to help continue to evolve the gaming industry.
Attendees will benefit from hearing leading technology companies speak about technologies already in use within other industries and the impact they are having. They will learn how those technologies have applicability to the gaming industry and hear from companies on the leading edge of innovation and the technology’s implementation. Importantly, attendees will hear from legislators and regulators who have been tasked with creating laws and regulations and who are responsible for overseeing the technology’s use.
