Safer Gambling Committee (SGC)
The Safer Gambling Committee (SGC) is charged with identifying a framework to empower Regulators to implement a safer gambling model that can evolve and improve over time. This charter serves to create a safer gambling model that invites jurisdictions to embrace a journey from awareness to implementation.
SCOPE
The scope of the SGC is to provide regulators and operators with a Safer Gambling Model (SGM) that offers a path from discovery to accountable SG management. The SGM would offer levels of safer gambling from conceptual to qualitative to quantitative to ensure regulators and operators can evolve from implementing a basic policy to managing a precise dashboard of KPIs generated from quantitative data.
The SGC committee members will work collaboratively to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with current safer gambling policies to create a foundation for operators and regulators to evolve to a proactive, safer gambling framework. The SGC will explore methodologies that identify practical solutions to existing and foreseeable challenges and facilitate the sharing of best practices with all industry stakeholders.
