News – Letter from the President
IGSA at Industry Events!
In May, IGSA participated in the Gaming Leaders Summit in London. This conference focused on payments, fraud and compliance, as well as technology topics such as AI and cyber security.
We have a busy event schedule in the works for the rest of the year!
In June we will be at the iGX Summit in London, where we will be focusing on player protection in the online space. Find out more about iGX here.
In October, we will be at G2E in Las Vegas, NV with our education booth for attendees and our annual meeting. Find out more about G2E here.
In November, we have our annual technology summit, GSATS – FOCUS: Evolving Gaming Through Technology, scheduled for November 12-13 in Phoenix, AZ. You can find out more about our event and register to attend here.

News You Can Use!
In April and May, IGSA welcomed two new board members, Donovan Meyer, Light & Wonder and Charmaine Hogan, Playtech. We also said a fond farewell to longtime BOD member and Vice Chair of the BOD, Martin Pedak. Martin was responsible for leading the IGSA effort in Online Gaming and the production of our OG Standard. Thank you for all of your contributions, Martin!
In the last few months, interest is growing in IGSA’s new Committee-level membership that allows companies with a very specific interest in a technology to participate at just the committee level. Their employees are eligible to attend committee meetings, vote in committees, and generally participate and add their expertise to specific technologies to the benefit of the industry. In recent weeks, Worldpay, Sightline and Continent 8 have joined as Committee-level members. Find out more about this exciting new membership option here.
COMMITTEE UPDATES
ETHICAL AI
The Ethical AI committee met on May 28 and finalized the nine agreed-upon Best Practices. The document is currently being approved by the IGSA membership.
CYBER RESILIENCY
The Cyber Resiliency committee met on May 29 and reviewed the current status of their Best Practices project and how they can move forward on assisting the industry with their security needs.
EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES
The Emerging Technologies committee did not meet in May, but will meet again in June.
PAYMENTS
The Payments committee met on May 7 and finalized the Data Dictionary, identified the regulatory agencies we will conduct outreach to first and also approved a letter to the Connecticut legislation commenting on the technical feasibility of HB 5269.
